White Horse is honored

The White Horse Country Pub and Restaurant in the Marble Dale section of Washington has received numerous honors.
"We have an outstanding crew but also exceptional customers, who are as equally proud of our press awards as we are," said White Horse owner John Harris, "and that is what makes the White Horse such a remarkable place."
Among the awards was a five-star rating by Country and Abroad magazine for the Route 202 pub's cuisine, service, decor and "reasonable pricing."
The magazine said it has given this award only three times in its history.
Yankee Magazine called the pub "the Best Classic Pub in New England."
Connecticut Magazine also designated the pub as the best restaurant bar in Litchfield County, best new restaurant in Litchfield County, best prime rib in Litchfield County, best value in Litchfield, best restaurant bar statewide runner-up and prime rib statewide runner-up.
The White Horse is located at 258 New Milford Turnpike in Marble Dale.
